Yuuna Okanishi（Japan） 1985- Okanishi has been completely absorbed in calligraphy and studied under Shunko Tochigi. She obtained a calligraphy master license while she was a high school student. As a calligrapher she breathes to her letter and represent an original rhythm and tempo. Seeking a beauty of stroke line in the natural world by her calligraphy technique. Her theme of the calligraphy based on “There is no gap between own self and others and all is one and harmonize”.
She develops the contemporary art which is inspired by “Earth”.
Okanishi has exhibited at international art fairs and had a live-painting performances actively. She creates the new world of calligraphy. Okanishi belongs to The Japan National Committee of UN Women as an artist and participates some events. Also for the sake to educate to the children the importance of the heart, she has a calligraphy class at elementary school as a volunteer work.
