神代 良明|Yoshiaki KOJIRO

1968 年千葉県生まれ。東京理科大学大学院修了。株式会社現代計画研究所にて建築設計に 6 年間携わる。東京ガラス工芸研究所、金沢卯辰山工芸工房を経て独立。素材と人との関係への関心から、発泡ガラスの焼成過程を注視した制作を行っている。国際ガラス展・金沢 2004 大賞、ロエベクラフトプライズ 2017 審査員特別賞などを受賞。V&A 博物館、モダン・ピナコテーク、コーニングガラス美術館、富山市ガラス美術館、ロエベ財団など収蔵多数。
Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1968. Graduated from Tokyo University of Science Graduate School. Worked in architectural design at Modern Planning Institute for six years. After working at the Tokyo Glass Art Institute and Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Studio, he went independent. Interested in the relationship between materials and people, he creates works that focus on the firing process of foam glass. He has received awards such as the Grand Prize at the International Glass Exhibition Kanazawa 2004 and the Special Jury Prize at the Loewe Craft Prize 2017. His works are held in many collections, including the V&A Museum, Modern Pinakothek, Corning Museum of Glass, Toyama Glass Art Museum, and the Loewe Foundation.
