1978年愛知県生まれ。武蔵野美術大学工芸工業デザイン学科卒業後、菅原工芸硝子に勤務し、富山ガラス造形研究所研究科修了。金沢卯辰山工芸工房を経て独立。ガラスを素材に、愛でるサイズの作品からインスタレーションまで幅広く作品を展開。金沢21世紀美術館、ローマ皇帝博物館、レッテガラス美術館、BIWAKOビエンナーレなどで開催された国内外の展覧会に多数参加。作品は各地に収蔵され、多くの受賞歴がある。

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1978. After graduating from the Department of Craft and Industrial Design at Musashino Art University, he worked at Sugawara Craft Glass and completed his graduate studies at the Toyama Glass Art Institute. After working at the Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Studio, he went independent. He creates a wide range of glass-based works, from small pieces to installations. He has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Japan and abroad, including those held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, the Imperial Museum of Rome, the Lette Glass Museum, and the BIWAKO Biennale. His works are held in collections across the country and have won numerous awards.
