Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1984. Her childhood experiences of nature and the death of living creatures fostered her own unique view of life and death, leading to an expression that focuses on the theme of the beauty of death. She began copperplate engraving while studying at Joshibi Junior College of Art and Design, and at the age of 20, her masterpiece "49 Days" received high praise, leading her to become a professional. She has now expanded her range of expression to include acrylic painting and Arita ware, presenting powerful works that depict gods and divine beasts. She has attracted attention both at home and abroad, with her work being included in the collection of the British Museum and her appointment as an ambassador for Christian Dior.
