1966年チェコ生まれ。チェコ・プラハ美術建築デザイン・アカデミーで修士号・博士号を取得。イギリスやアメリカでも研究・指導を行い、国際的に活躍。ムラーノ・ガラス博物館グランプリなど受賞歴多数。作品は日本、台湾、チェコなど世界各国の美術館に収蔵されている。現在はチェコ、スウェーデン、イタリアを拠点に、石とガラスを主素材に制作を続けている。

Born in the Czech Republic in 1966. He received his master's and doctoral degrees from the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague, Czech Republic. He has also conducted research and taught in the UK and the US, and is active internationally. He has won numerous awards, including the Murano Glass Museum Grand Prix. His works are housed in museums around the world, including Japan, Taiwan, and the Czech Republic. He is currently based in the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Italy, and continues to create works using stone and glass as his primary materials.
